Funding Information

Government Funded Hours

The Government makes funding available for either 15 or 30 hours per week during school terms only, starting in September each year. This is 38 weeks per year. You have to apply for the funding. Check if you are eligible here https://www.gov.uk/free-childcare-if-working/check-youre-eligible. Your child may become eligible through the school year in September, January or April.

Although the funding is for 38 weeks of the year, the funded hours can be spread over 12 months from September to August. Please talk to the officer in charge to understand how this can work for your particular requirements, even if your child is starting later than September.

Funded sessions are always in great demand. Please speak to the officer in charge when you visit the nursery with your child to determine what sessions are available and how we can meet your requirements.

Chargeable additional hours or sessions can be used to make a school day or a full day.
