Haslucks Green Nursery

Beechwood at Haslucks Green is a fantastically welcoming place to send your child. Always approachable and willing to listen, our friendly staff have a wide range of knowledge and a professional attitude, with plenty of time to support your child and you in any way they can.

We aim to allow children to explore life in a safe and happy environment that we like to think of as a ‘home away from home’. Our planning is based upon the principles of ‘In the moment planning’ where the child’s needs and interests are paramount. We make use of Tapestry online journals to record your child’s activities and progress, where you as a parent play a large part in your child’s development.

We have a fantastic outdoor area where we have adopted the principles of free flow play where the children can choose between indoor or outdoor play as they wish. Do you remember making mud pies and jumping in puddles? These are just some of the many things we offer to the children in our safe and secluded outdoor setting, which includes our new outdoor classroom. We also have our own greenhouse where the children help to grow items to be consumed during snack and tea times.

So finally we would like to apologise in advance if your child goes home dirty and sometimes they may go home tired, but we hope to always send them home with happy memories of their time spent at Beechwood at Haslucks Green.
